Just gonna throw this one out there, Jonathan Case.
Bernard Chang - Always loved his early Valiant Comics work.
Lee Weeks - Underrated greatness!

Of late what will have been catching my eye(ball)(s) would be a very lush old-style Catwoman VS Batman pinup by one Joelle "Lazy Bones" Jones, telling me that if Will Eisner would have been a woman than she'd have been an excellent comics-artist.
I'd still be wondering how greatly either Franchesco Francavilla, Ryan Sook, Craig Rousseau or David Petersen would be pulling off interior art.
Plus in the legend department I'd be most interested in Alex Ninő, MW Kaluta,
Jean Moebius Giraud, Charles Burns or a Crumb Hellboy -
and what would really be epic would be getting Jim Phillips - prime surf/skate/hotrod & rock-N-roll artist, who either invented or defined pretty much all the Santa Cruz, O"J" & Bullet, Slimeballs, Cell Block or Rip Grip skateboarding-related artwork - onto doing either covers or interior art! That would really be sensational, since mr. Phillips would be like both the Kirby and the Crumb of skateboarding both as rock-n-roll and surfing art.
To my knowledge he'd be like 20 years older than mr. Mike, still working both as surfing as good as every day! His son Jimbo is also an artist and can put vastly owning the art of Fat Wreck Chords behind his name. Some samples of mr. Jim's art:

Chillingly good stuff besides Mignola, Slint, M, Knut and really big chunks of tinfoil?Been called a 'good egg'. Been told to rock, been told to steady myself. Been told to (please) be goin' places.
Half sunk in the mud, with one eye showing / a cracked smile and hair still growing /
your hands miles apart, as if they'd never met / you were the happiest I'd seen you yet. ~ (full) lyrics to 'Exhume' by Bedhead.
If (like me) anyone wanted to see Sean Gordon Murphy draw a Mignolaverse story, there's hope out there. In a recent interview about his miniseries Punk Rock Jesus he said: "Trust me, after this book is done, I plan on doing projects with guys like Scott Snyder, Mark Millar, and John Arcudi because they've been kind enough to wait." He's been approached to do a Hellboy story before, but turned it down so he could work on Punk Rock Jesus. And he works really well with Dave Stewart.
I can see why someone would like his work. SGM ultimate team up
Reminds me of Bill Sienkiewicz.

Dustin Weaver- he'd be great on BPRD- his work on Star Wars: knights of the Old republic was incredible- lush detail and great character/costume designs!
Tension, Apprehension, and Dissension have begun.
Shaky Kane will be nice to see he do some Hellboy stuff .Alex Maleev will rock the pages with Lizzy and the crew of BPRD .
Maybe Michael Avon Oeming as both artist and co-writer of some of the many Mignola verse titles
In brightest day, in blackest night,
No evil shall escape my sight
Let those who worship evil's might,
Beware my power... Green Lantern's light
I'd love to see a full one-shot done by Frank Cho.
Probably with some hot chick vampires in the middle...

Just bumping this thread back to the top to see what new artists people might mention.
Frank Cho is great. I'd like to see Kevin O'Neill do something too. The monsters in his and Alan Moore's recent Nemo book reminded me of Guy Davis.
I'd love to see RAFAEL GRAMPA do an issue or two. His style is great...
