Just picked these up on Thursday. Thanks to a gift certificate for a LCS from my nephew for Christmas, I got each for approximately $6. This moves me to within 15 issues left to have the entire Marvel run of Captain America.

I also picked up a copy of Force Works #16 to finish out that series, but that is not as picture-worthy as these

    Currently Hunting:
Marvel Two-in-One #1, and Werewolf by Night #32 (at a reasonable price)

It would be if the picture was you setting it on fire.

Those Caps are great, though. Cool story, Avengers crossover, Gene Colan art. What's not to love? I was lucky enough to meet Gene and had him sign my #116 a number of years ago. Very cool pickups there.

I'm super jealous you got to meet him. Both he and Marv Wolfman were supposed to be at the Pittsburgh Comic-Con a couple of years ago (2010 or 2011, IIRC), but both had to cancel for various reasons; if it was 2011, it would have been just a couple of months before Gene passed away. I was planning on getting both of them to sign my copies of Tomb of Dracula #1 and #10, but it just wasn't to be.

Just snagged these off of ebay for $20. The Star Wars was an impulse buy, don't know too much about it. The Arkham Asylum is a 1st print hardcover so I think it is a good deal. Also looking to win 27 Batman issues from the same seller, if I do pictures will follow :)

Nice books guys. Those Caps are great. I'm glad I got to meet Gene Colan when I did too. *sniff, sniff*

It's been a while since I grabbed any LB Cole books, so I picked up this one last night:

No that's not a Cole cover, but he did interiors! Plus that is a killer cover. I also always liked MANHUNT #4 and hope to get one of them someday. I already have a #7.

I also grabbed this one off the CGC boards:

Nice headlights. ;) It was an elusive one for me that I needed to fill in a hole in the BB run.

Very nice. Are those guys on the cover of Manhunt fighting in a zeppelin?

Yesterday I came home with Night Force issues 3 and 13 as well as The New Teen Titans 21 (for the Night Force preview) naturally.

I think so! I'll have a better idea after I get the book in. I also love how not only is the girl fighting to not hand to death, but either she's in a tube top or how else it looks is that she only has a skirt on. HA! Here is an image of the #4 that I'd love to have someday:

    And he's a (not my) #7:

Oh. I suppose you mean the human female.

    Never mind.
I tend to split superhero comics fans into "People who like Krypto" and "People who don't like Krypto."
Basically, if you miss the wonder of a dog flying around in a little Superman cape, you're in the wrong hobby.
