Returning to previous Editor Set Up


I probably am going to come off a bit like a jerk right now, and maybe I am being one. My apologies there. I take full responsibility here and am going to make an EIC call here.

I am returning the editor roles back, mcgaffer will take on full load of Dark Line. I rushed this decision and brought in Animal Man. Not his fault at all, but this is too difficult a time to start a complete newcomer to AOM in as an editor. With a ton of mandate decisions, new lines, titles and continuity to catch up on. It just was not a good fit. A new editor without AOM plotting experience or interest/knowledge in Marvel Comics is too much to overcome all at once. Animal Man does a great job on DC's New Dawn project, he is a big DC fan so please check out his books there. For now though, I think Animal Man would be better served as a plotter where he can use his story telling ideas on different titles from lines that better fit his interests.

Hopefully we get a new and skilled plotter and once Animal Man becomes more steeped in the AOM system and in Marvel Characters, then we will try this again.

Again, my fault on this. I rushed the decision before asking some basic questions. My apologies to Animal Man and the Bullpen.

Sorry it didn't work out as an editor Animal Man. But you could always submit plot ideas for those characters and title that you like. So focus your energy there and get the hang of AoM from that perspective. Good luck.

Mmm, that could be cool. I'll need to have a think about it. My line is now pretty compact now. Every character fits in perfectly. But Ediie is a cool Spidey character. It would be hard to pass him up.

The only character that I'm not sure of just now is... Venom/Flash Thompson. Go figure. Things just have to feel right for me to accept them.

Hmmm... give me a second I'm only kind of familiar with Death's Head but I could work with him. But what is the character like in the AOM Universe? Has he got any established history here?

Jack Russell's kinfolk Vampire By Night might be an option too personamanx.

Added Casanova characters Casanova Quinn and Luther D. Diamond to Cosmic. I have a story idea for them, introducing them into AoM universe early on in New Era. Then if someone else is interested in using Casanova, I can plot his transfer to that book and time/universe after his Cosmic story is complete. SHIELD? Nextwave? Ass-Kickers? 25th Century? He is basically Mick Jagger as a super spy....so Commandos might work too.

Action is going to use villain team name "Sinister Six"

Ben Reilly, Kaine, Eddie or Flash....all fit the Spidey book well. I definitely can see Eddie as the cool friend for "geeky" Peter. This version is a different beast than the jealous photog of 616....this Eddie is cool man.....He was in a rock n roll band!
