Marvel Comics has released an advance look at "Captain America" #1, the new Steve Rogers starring series by Ed Brubaker and Steve McNiven. The new series launches on July 13.

I've never been a huge fan of McNiven but that artwork looks beautiful.

Wow, and here I thought Steve's art dropped in quality after Nemesis. This is much better. As for Rogers taking over the mantle again, it was bound to happen sooner or later. Still, it was fun having Bucky as Cap while it lasted.

McNiven is awesome. Hope he stays on the art rotation at least. I know hes slow but 6 issues a year would be great.
Support titles that need supporting. Quit buying, reading and complaining about comics you don't enjoy.

Jesus Saiz is great I love is art work when he was working on Manhunter for DC it was one of my favorite comics ever. I would love to see him do some work for Marvel. Cap would suit him well. Originally Posted by rogerio
