The secret to success in any field is simply hard work.
The vast majority of people are incredibly lazy.
His comments about the work ethic and insular perspective of some comics creators jibes with something I've believed for a long time, but it's interesting to hear it backed up by a respected, seasoned pro.

Cooke is one of the creators that I'll pick up anything he works on. I think I still have a few issues of Speakeasy's "Spell Game" that I picked up in large part for his covers.

The more interviews I read done w/Cooke, the more respect I have for the guy. They really don't make them like him anymore.![]()
Comics still reading: Saga, Sixth Gun, Walking Dead, All New X-Men, Daredevil, Fury MAX. DC New 52 isn't the worth the paper its printed on...
