Oh WOW! As a comic reader who came in at the early 90s, this is just perfect news for me! Though he's been written off as a product of the time, he's one of the many that I think really could have gone further if writers other than Michiline (crap, messed up the spelling) had shown more interest in him. Classic, basic origin, cool costume and solid powers. I'll have to check this out.

Cool theyre giving chances to some d listers but even as a kid I thought Cardiac was a joke. The art looks amazing though so it could be okay.

Didn't somebody mention bringing back Cardiac at some comic convention earlier and the Marvel heads were like "Hey, you never know!"?

Man that's just good to hear! I always thought he was a cool character and I've heard quite a few people wanting him back as well. Looks like someone was actually listening.

In the hands of a capable writer, there's really no such thing as a "joke" character. Even characters initially intended as comic relief can be made compelling in later stories. It's only the hack writers who need to rely on the franchise characters to give their stories more weight.

Unexpected, but the writer' approach got everything to make of the character a proeminent figure.

Thus Marvel is surprising me with stories targeting the corporates..I really wanna see where it will all end, as Grant Morrison setted the bar very high with ANIMAL MAN..

    I really like it.

Looking forward to this one, I've always had an interest in the character even though I've read very little of him. Plus I think he has a pretty cool look.

Wasn't all the refined vibranium rendered inert? I thought he would be dead after all that happened with the Black Panther and Dr Doom.

I assumed it was like Liefeld and Cable or Deadpool, where maybe they had to pay Larsen to use him. Maybe not I guess, though I never did like the character in Spider-Man I'll give it a look.

I can't think of a more relevent character, and yet all he gets is a single short story.

Anyone remember when comics had some balls?
