Post Is the "trinity" series any good?

Its the DC comic with Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman in it. Basically i want to know if its worth picking up for WW alone?

Do you mean the 3 part mini series by Matt Wagner, or the 52 issue weekly series from a couple years ago?

If you're a Wonder Woman fan, the Matt Wagner series will be very frustrating. The actual characterization isn't bad, but Wonder Woman does nothing impressive, accomplishes little on her own (and the wins she does earn often require much greater effort than she should need to exert), the Amazons get punked, and Diana gets her ass kicked/nearly killed several times.

The other series started out good, but at a certain point, the focus of the series shifted away from the trinity, which is when I lost interest and stopped reading.

The reason i asked is because i was not aware of this comic until i saw this picture:

    *So pretty*

This got me intrigued hence im asking if this series is any good. But if it does not have a good portrayal of WW then...

Batman's characterization was pretty bad as well.

I thought the Matt Wagner series was pretty good, but not the 52-issue series. Between the statues, tarot cards and other symbolism (it's been a while since I read it so I can't remember all of it) they were basically being deified. I guess the term "trinity" itself is evocative of deification, but still I thought they went overboard. I quit reading it a third of the way through.

I thought it was a pretty entertaining DCU story but it is a very long story so be prepared to invest yourself in it.

For me it reads best as a complete story as opposed to 52 issues. I know that is a lot to take in at one time, but I got really confused when I read it month-by-month. After getting it all I re-read it and thought it was a wonderful story...

I just recently bought the tpb collection of the Matt Wagner series . . . I'm about two-thirds through it, but I'm enjoying it so far. The artwork is really evocative of the old Fleisher Superman cartoon.

I enjoyed this story also; I just thought that Wonder Woman was made to job to a degree; had she done a bit better, this story would have been even better.
