^Hmmmm.... each issue typically is a mix of one-shots, first installments in new serials, and (as you say) Part 2, 3, 4, and 5s. Between the one-shots and first installments I'd say a little less than half of each issue requires no previous knowledge of stories.

It takes about two issues to get caught up on any serials currently running. So, I wouldn't sweat it. Personally I'd pick up #10 now and 11 when it comes out, and you'll be good for 90% of the content. The serial turn over is pretty rapid for the most part. With only FINDER longer running. And Finder presents itself as mostly a series of stand alone vignettes so its really easy to jump in at any point.

To commemorate 12 months of Dark Horse Presents I made a Wallpaper to share.

    Enjoy!

In a perfect world he would be the artist on every book I enjoy, but until I find that alternate reality I'll be happy to have what he decides to give us.

By my estimation issue #12 is the best issue since #4 (the one that really knocked my socks off). Everything in it was at least good, and several stories were great.

I wonder how long this Finder story will run. I suppose long enough for it to reach graphic novel length like most previous Finder stories.

I'm so glad Finder continues to run as a regular recurring serial. It really is the rock that keeps DHP great. And my object example of why Dark Horse needs more regular serials, rather then just using DHP to jump start mini-series.

#12 was just comics mana. I was in nerd heaven. I'd read a stellar installment and then, thinking there couldn't possibly be any more, there always was. It kept going and going and going. Sooooo very great.

I've only read #7, it was available free on Dark horse's digital comics app because it had been nominated for an Eisner award I think. I was a bit confused when reading the ongoing stories, but the one-shots were great especially skeleton key and Hellboy. All in all it seemed like good stuff. I wanted to read #12 because it had Aliens in it, but the digital version didn't include it (I can't buy it in print because I live in Finland). On that note was the Aliens story any good?
