Can't wait. One of the best crossover stories I've read in a long time.

This and Age of X are how event books should be done: not like Fear Itself, Blackest Night, Flashpoint, etc. Just some fun, quick, "wham, bam, thank you ma'am" high octane awesomeoness.
This just in: Chris Sprouse has pulled out of Orson Scott Card.

whoo--hoo!!!!!! look at that freaking art!! beautiful and creepy at the same time! james asmus has been knocking it out of the park with each installment of this story, and this has definitely gotten me even more excited. i love that he's playing up the "horror" elements from namor's ongoing, and i'm so glad he mentioned that first mutant didn't get the kind of market acclaim it deserved.

James Asmus's writing has been thoroughly enjoyable in every X title he's been assigned.
Really hopeful to read more of his work. He's excellent with capturing their voices and maintaining a plot-pace.

    I can't wait, I LOVE this story!!

I loved all of Asmus's past Marvel work and I really hope he gets put on a main book!

I've really enjoyed James Asmus' writing on the other two books, but I have to say, I'm a little worried about this one. It looks like Namor is just going be playing Jason in this, and I was hoping for a little more characterization and verbal interaction with Rogers and Nemesis and even Hope.

That said, I'll still be buying it and hoping for some Asmus magic. Especially since he picked up on that horror element in the first arc of Namor the First Mutant.

    not too worried here, rheged.

antagonistic namor is my preferred interpretation of the character, so i'm happy to see asmus put the "savage" back into the sub-mariner. plus, he had excellent characterization in part one and asmus seems to genuinely enjoy namor.

I grew up with Jim... he couldn't be a nicer guy! As a friend, especially, it's really great to see him some great X-stories.

That art is great. I forgot to get part two. I'll remedy that this weekend.

I know, Aces, I should have more faith. Cancelation has made more pessimistic and whiney lately.
