    Sounds interesting. Surely, though, if Moriarity survived Reichenbach Falls in "The Final Problem," he would have found out at some point in those 20 years that Holmes had also survived and eventually went back to work in London.

    Yeah, particulary because The Empty House was published in-universe ten years after The Final Problem and his return was apparently common knowledge by then.

    Still, I forgave Sherlock Holmes Year One, I can probably forgive this, if it's as good or better.
