Super-small Chamber cameo in next week's WATXM #29 -- considering the majority of it takes place in the future, I doubt we see him again in the issue, but it'd be nice if he was one of the last remaining faculty members, especially considering how little mind the current faculty pay to him. :P

Ooh! I came back from vacation and Jono is, like, in some comics! How exciting! I'm a little iffy on the clown shoes and blue jeans but, um, I'll take what I can get! Also, some beautiful fan art. I really do like the black nail polish. Here's a couple of gags from my week off:

I missed your art. :) I really like how you draw the new costume. Id prefer a nicely drawn version of it to hobo clothes....

and I saw your new custom figure... wow! Im amazed & frankly a little creeped out by it(ultra-realistic human figures kinda freak me out sometimes, uncanny valley & stuff.) But great work!

I was like "clown shoes...?" Then I went back and looked and oh lordy, you're right. Those shoes are massive! Lol. But it's all worth it for that panel at the end... ;D

Thanks, Jawbreaker! I'd like to see the new costume used. Or Molina can come back and draw some more Jono is his super buckle-y jacket. That would work for me as well.

Mini Jono is pretty darn realistic. I sorta have a massive toy collection though, so, he fits right in. Now I'm making him an Angelo so they can hang out.

Wolverine and the X-Men #29 was, as always is the case with this series, a bit of a jip. We get an interesting peak at the Grey School of 25 years in the future, but then they don't do anything with it (unless you're an Eye Boy fan), and then it's gone all too quickly. No Chamber shown in the future as far as I can tell, with the fates of Chamber and Husk left unmentioned, but there was at least a second Jono panel (technically, shown first) that I think you'll enjoy; art by Ramon Perez:

oh thats a cool little panel there. But its weird he shows up twice in the present but doesnt show up at all in the future. I think its just the artists who are slipping him in when they can b/c they know he's a staff member & he's fun to draw. I think Im glad really b/c I dont really want Aaron writing him the way he's writing Husk, who's such an OOC joke.

Angelo is coming along! All his pieces showed up so now I just have to retool the face sculpt and burn through a whole lot of grey paint. I shall chronicle my adventures on Tumblr once I finally get a chance to start the project.

oh yeah thats an older piece but very nice. Would make a great cover, I think. :)

EDIT: ok I was refering to the previous colored art. I saw this one too. very cool & yes I can see him being a radiohead fan. :)

I was hoping we'd get the Blindfold/Chamber panels in the preview on newsarama but its not there, & its not the same artist, so guess its not in this issue. Im really dying to know what Blindfold & Chamber are talking about. I know it involves her setting up her team but Im curious what she'll say that will convince him to help her.

They might have two artists on the same issue. That does happen fairly regularly. Much to my annoyance, if I'm going to be honest.

Creep is Chamber-y for sure. I picture him listen to angry white boy music.
