ok 1st of all thank you so much for scanning these starleaf!
now
Legacy:
ugh getting bad 80's flashback with that clothes, but his hair looks better.
WATX:
oh lol! someone had posted the "invisible" line in their comment about Jono in this issues review thread but I thought they were just making their own mocking comment about his curent wallpaperiness. He actually says it himself !lol! its like Aaron is aware of the wallpaperiness... also I totally take the line is in a sarcastic tone, it's in character for Jono to be self depricating in a very bitter sarcastic way.

Chamber and the X-Kids!
Awesome image, is that fanart?
Awesome scans, thanks for all the work (and for texting them yesterday). :D Legacy goes through a ton of artists, so a new one should be around soon that hopefully does a better portrayal of Jono; although, I found this one to be a better portrayal than his last Legacy appearance. Not digging the inconsistencies between Legacy and WATXM. His personality seems different, and he seems to run around without covering his face in Legacy while is bandaged up in WATXM. I don't mind either/or, but consistency would be good. Agreed though, Gage does have a better take than Aaron.
Lol, that's definitely how I'll read that line, then. And you're welcome. :)
What I found funny about Legacy was how his mouth was bandaged up in one panel, then letting his freak flag fly in the next. I guess the bandages got itchy.
Yeah, I think so. ^^
You're welcome and let's hope so. :)
And yeah, the inconsistency is curious. Bachalo is adhering to the rules of Jono's past appearances, especially Generation X. I think in Legacy, they just want to point out "OMG HOW COOL IS THIS?!" with Jono's power every time, maybe to increase sales. Lolz.
thats funny I always figured Jono's appearance turned most people off(Im talking about readers here.) Artistically/visually inclined folk seem to really dig him, thats why there's so much fanart of him out there(considering how obscure he is) & people who love the weird & bizarre(think T. Burton fans.) But the average person(including the more casual or old school fans who prefer the iconic super model looks)think yuck! what's wrong with him? I think thats why Marvel almost never puts him on covers.
I'm both "artistically/visually inclined" and a Tim Burton fan, so I had no hope to withstand his awesome look and dry, sarcastic personality. XD
Sad that being unusual means he's not cover material outside of, say, Generation X. D:
But hey, he did make it onto that one Generation M cover! What an awesome cover it was, too! Too bad the actual Jono content on the inside couldn't live up to it.

^wow I love it!
also I forgot to comment on the Chamber & the X-kids fanart. That needs to be the cover of a one-shot!
A preview for X-Men: Legacy #267 is up:

It makes me think that they could have a scene where Jono says Hellion is in really bad shape, with Husk acting all indecisive until Chamber tells her she can do this (in a semi-shippy moment :P), which gives her the boost of confidence needed to tell Glob and Match to go back to class while she preps the med bay for Jono and Hellion. Jono carries him in and they work together to save his life, knowing that if he dies, that could escalate the war even more, perhaps permanently. Obviously, they'd care more about saving his life than the political fallout of the situation, but it'd be a way to keep the tension high throughout the issue. By the end of the issue, we'd know if he lives or dies.
...Though I'm kind of doubting they'd do something that cool in a crossover issue, even one written by Gage. :x
Holy crap, another issue with at least two Chamber appearances?! We are truly being spoiled, and I really hope it continues!
That would be a pretty cool scene you described Starleaf, would be perfect but unlikely during AVX; although, it would only really need a page or so and a reveal at the end to pull it off. Would be a good break from the testosterone fighting.
