I'd never really though about it but PTSD stopping him flying really does make sense. I bet if someone threw Paige off a cliff he'd get over it to save her though =D

Now that would be awesome to see! We'd all be like, "OMG NO! Don't run off the cliff after Paige!!"
And then she'd be like: "Jono -- y-you're FLYING?!"
And then we would be like, "AWWWWWWWWW YEAH!"
Yup, definitely traumatized!
EDIT:
By the way, Chamber will be making appearances in Legacy #267 (he can't escape Rafa Sandoval...or that shirt):
Judging by this, however, he's only going to be a background character at best:
Marvel.com: Good point! Let’s talk about both sides, X-Men first: what members of the faculty in X-MEN LEGACY will be most involved in the AvX tie-ins and how will they be impacted the most?
Christos Gage: Rogue, primarily. Also Frenzy, Gambit, Mimic, and Kitty [Pryde] will be in the mix. They'll be impacted by Avenger fists! And vice versa!

Which is a shame because Jono's power provides the potential for some awesome splash pages fighting Avengers. Not to mention it would kind of be a callback to him taking Ghost Rider out in Age of X. :D
So personally, unless Chamber gets some serious panel time, I'm going to save my bucks instead for seeing Chamber drawn by Bachalo in WATXM #10 and hope he gets a speaking part of more than a few panels.

Wow, he was so small I didn't even notice him in the previews earlier.
lol I didnt see him either! Its funny how often he's popping up in the background all of a sudden. He's like the X-men version of Waldo...
I guess the X-writers have no idea what to do wth him right now but feel he has to be used somewhere after Mike Carey made such an emphasis on repowering him. Its too bad Mike C. couldnt finish his plans for Legacy. Im kinda hoping C. Gage can come up with an interseting storyline for him eventually(even if its a smaller subplot story.)
Eee, there NEEDS to be a "Where's Jono?" book. I'd totally buy that. XD
Agreed on your other point. It kind of seems to me like Editorial is forcing him on people, which is certainly better than Editorial saying, "lolJono? Who cares? That's so '90s and his bondage was weird," like before, but not by much.

eh I wouldnt say theyre "forcing him" on people, thats more like what theyre doing with Pixie ... I do think its a little sad that he's been brought back just to be wallpaper though. Hopefully that will change...
looks like it was a busy week for Jono.
did he get any lines in legacy?
so far I need to pickup the 2 Weapon Omega Legacy issues, the Legacy AvX issue/s,
& WATX 10 (I am sufficed with the scan provided online for his appearance in #9) :)
Chamber and the X-Kids!
Splitting this into two messages because of the image limit.
I'd be annoyed if the issues weren't so fun to read otherwise (I mean, I skipped the Wolvie/Scott stuff, but lol at Emma/Kitty/Rachael and Magik's reaction to Quire's flirtations), because there are only two panels in each book of Chamber and only one talking panel each.
The portrayals of him seem somewhat at odds, too, which is a shame because Gage's portrayal is better but the art sucks (compared to Bachalo over in WATXM, even if that Jono looks like he just rolled out of bed, lol), while Bachalo remains the only artist left at Marvel who can draw him properly (apparently; hope Legacy gets a new artist soon), but I'm not a fan of Aaron's take on Jono.
I guess they kind of mesh better if you read them in the same sarcastic, downer tone instead of the clearly wimpy choice of tone for WATXM #10.
But I fought my temperamental (emphasis on MENTAL!) scanner so that you could judge for yourselves:
X-Men: Legacy #266 coverage in its entirety.
