Eh, minor occurrence, if it even really happened (he has an ego, but he's not stupid, and this report in of itself sounds stupid, really).

Now Val Venis, on the other hand? Real classy with the mile high club joke, Val.

SO the guy who can't speak English was bragging to talent backstage? There's a whole lot that sounds off here.

I'm actually glad he can speak english, even if he's sadly using it to make himself look bad in the lockeroom. I was worried he might not be able to cut promo's... something I imagine he'll have to do sooner or later.

So that's two great nights of King of Trios action.

Tomorrow is the final day, and if these two shows were an indication, the DVD will give ROH and DGUSA a run for their money (in quality, I mean).

By the way, I just realized Lockdown's tomorrow. Too bad, can't watch it do to time constraints (though it would have been debatable for IF I would watch it, seeing as I have not watched TNA's product since well into last year).
You just have to be cool about it...

His neck was broken, fused together, and at this point possibly close to broken (not to mention the nerve damage). Like Bret Hart, one slightly off-kilter bump - just one - could paralyze him.

So the short answer is no.

i change the channel or fast forward when i see either of them most the time btw, so no bias on my part.

Mr. Backlund continued wrestling under the new gimmick of an out of touch, yet highly dangerous, maniac out to teach the new generation a lesson.[3] He often appeared in business suits, had a hyperactive personality, and used (or, often, misused) large words to sound important. He also demanded that he be addressed as "Mr. Backlund". He would only sign autographs for wrestling fans if they could recite the names of all of the US Presidents in chronological order

In 1998, Vince McMahon was hosting a chat session where he would personally take questions from fans. All was going well, until after around 5 minutes into the chat, AOL messed up and people stopped being able to ask him questions.

Logical thing to do? Ramble non-stop, naturally. Vince's random thoughts are hilarious.

    Here's the transcript.

    And here's a snippet of Vince's rambling:

WWFLive2: Speaking of massive, wait til you get a load of a new
WWF toy. It's called a BOSS HOSS. It's a 351 cubic inch chevrolet
engine. Fitted between my legs, 0 to 60 in 1 1/2 seconds. It's the ultimate crotch rocket!
In other news, I've just picked up a copy of Hogan's book at a bargain bin for around $1. It's not anywhere near as good as every other wrestling book I've read, but for around $1, it's probably just about worth it.
The Jaw Squad is dead. Long live the Jaw.
