So it's about Flash and Batman. Well, there's a new factoid to add in the mix.

One of the central conceits of the FLASHPOINT world is that we’ll see the DC Universe in a way we’ve never seen it before. (Without ruining/spoiling major plot points that we should keep under wraps…) What in the mini-series you are working on is going to make fans sit back and say, “I’ve never seen that before?”

Tony Bedard: EMPEROR AQUAMAN presents a harder, crueler Aquaman than we’ve ever seen. How exactly he ended up like that is one of the great mysteries of the mini-series, but this is a guy who is ready to wipe out the surface world, which is a lot of fun to write because there’s no pulling punches, no holding back.

Bedard also mentioned he loves Aquaman, outrageous!

You know, I was'nt really interested about Frankenstein and the Creatures of the Unknown until I heard "classic monsters fighting giant robots" and "Frankenstein vs. Hitler".

Well played Mr. Lemire, well played.
Comic Books are fun, Comic Book fans not so much.

Not surprising, since IIRC Kolins co-created Fallout in the first place.

That Canterbury Cricket art is absolutely beautiful! I'd forgot what a genius Rags Morales could be.

Even if I wasn't already excited for this, just reading about how excited the writers are makes me really interested in what exactly Flashpoint is.

Canterbury Cricket one-shot added to DCBS order, that's some fine art. I'm a little more interested in Flashpoint but still not sure how strong the books will be.

Yeah that Aquaman pic is absolutely insane. His face looks so much like Andy Kubert's art style, I would really think it was Kubert if not for the "Emperor Aquaman" text obscured at the top.
