    Default Those cosplayers

I know I should probably recognize who these people are, but the brightness of all that yellow is distracting me.
Those are characters from the Venture Bros. From L to R: Henchman 21, The Monarch, Dr. Mrs. The Monarch (formerly Dr. Girlfriend)

Green Riding Hood and Lady Green Hornet? I really don't know.
I'd imagine that's the Scarlet Which in her current amnesiac look from the Young Avengers Children's Crusade mini-series and the silver haired be-goggled person is Speed, a member of the Young Avengers and one of the Scarlet Witch's son...supposedly.

Not sure if she's connected to some Manga or something, but an excellent costume none-the-less. Also, "Hi, can I interest you in a visit to our Tiki Room?"
A character called Ulala from an old video game called Space Channel Five...she's a space reporter.

Not sure if all that snark was necessary. Some of those people obviously put in a lot of effort and you were a little rude.

Also, not Lady Green Hornet, but Speed, a (teenaged male) member of the Young Avengers.

Man, the person that wrote the comments for those photos was such a douche. Being snarky and sying "meh" does not make you cooler than a cosplayer.

only registered to post my disapproval concerning the comments below the photos. i guess the author's ignorance spreads beyond just not recognizing characters but to not recognizing professional behavior as well. look forward to improvement on further editions of the column.

Default that cbr writer is a jerk

Yeah, whoever wrote those comments under the pics is a complete jerk. Clearly you don't really like cosplayers, or star wars, or ghost busters, so why the heck are you writing for a site like this. Get lost.

    Default What a dick.

Seriously... I'm new to the site, and I have to say, if this yutz is an example of the writing I can expect, I really don't think its worth the space in my bookmarks toolbar.

100% agreed with the comments above. Being snarky and rude to fans is just unprofessional, and taking pictures of people at the show just so you can blast them on the site is needlessly mean. Did you tell these people when you were getting in their face for a picture that you planned to tag the images as "lame" or admit that you don't recognize their costume or care to do the forty seconds of research necessary to identify it?

"Green Riding Hood and Lady Green Hornet? I really don't know."

Some "Comic Book Resource" YOU are!

"Look, Stormtrooper Zombie is kinda cool, but logistically it doesn't make sense. How can you eat human flesh through the helmet? And not everything needs to be zombified."

Just because you don't like it doesn't mean it shouldn't be done.

You go out of your way to be insulting and mean to people with trite and condescending remarks. There is no value in anything you say. Calling people stupid is just over the line. I used to not care about this web site, but now I will go out of my way to avoid it, and all of your sponsors. And I will let them all know why.

LMAO @ all the comments. Who cares if the dudes put their hard work into it? Sometimes a costume is just lame, no matter how much time you put into it. Although, some of those costumes were all right.

But if you guys wanna complain then talk to the executive producer/publisher of CBR. He's the dude who wrote the article. He also started this site. He looks like the guy from King of Queens with a goatee. Also, he's got a huge, shiny forehead. It's so big you could cook a Belgian waffle on it and have enough room for bacon and eggs.
