Really? That was the best tagline they could come up with for Supercrooks? I'll probably check it out though, more for Yu's art than any love of Millar.

    Super Crooks: "Ocean's 11 meets the X-Men"

It looks and sounds more like...

..."Reservoir Dogs meets the Italian Job."

    Am I right?

If Hit Girl's series starts in September I hope that means that Kick-Ass 2's remaining issues will be published regularly.

Well, as much as I despise him, at least Miller knows his artists. The guy they've got pencilling for Hit Girl really does look like Eduardo Risso's pencils, especially his 100 Bullets stuff. It'd be hilarious if Millar convinced Dave Johnson to pull out some covers for the series.

Doesn't matter so much if the first arc doesn't take place after Kick-Ass 2. The first arc could be a partial retelling of her origin and an exploration of her first major pre-KA adventure with Big Daddy. Something to set up a bad guy from her past who might pop up in the 2nd or 3rd arc.

Whatever the case.... Slick cover. I only hope that Leandro Fernandez's work here doesn't affect his upcoming stint on DnA's run of New Mutants.

It'd be awesome if he could convince Johnson to do interiors again.

    Red Son was fantastic.

He's pretty much sticking to animation work when not doing covers, he's currently working on the next season of Venture Bros

Thumbs up Very ggod news indeed!!!

They are very good news from Millar who I have discovered with Kick-Ass, the movie, then with its own UK printed naby, CLiNT.

I will wait for the pre/publications of these two new stories in the now British Cult mag which is CLiNT!!!

I like the tagline for "SuperCrooks". I think it will be rock&roll!!!

Didn't he say on his forums that he'd only team up with an artist and write only one creator owned title for them ??, Saying he wanted to work with a variety of different artists, an example would be kickass, millar only planned to work with romita jr on kickass nothing else, and yet he's got a new project with Yu, did he have a change of heart? and is nemesis 2 coming out?? he said it was a trilogy though maybe Mcniven wanted to work with marvel again so he declined??

Hey--curious why this doesn't go under the Marvel forums? Icon isn't really independent if they have Marvel funding them.
Banned once...and still pissed about it. Well, okay...more like annoyed about it.
