Also I,m really enjoying the Pacqiau/Mosley hype on showtime. Boxing seems to always have the edge on MMA with the pre fight stuff.

I thought I'd try some questions to keep this thread alive:

Now that Zuffa has acquired Strikeforce,; are there any "superfights" you want to see?


I'd love to see Diaz take on GSP. I think Nick can beat him

Also, whoever wins SF heavyweight tourney (Overeeem I hope) would be a good matchup against Cain

Finally Melendez should be a favorite over Edgar. I would think it would be a mismatch.

Yeah, I think Edgar's by far the weakest champ in the UFC at the moment. Very good fighter, but not great like the others are or could be (Cruz aside, for now).

I respect what Al Bernstein has to say during fights. Pretty much what he thought could happen in the Lopez/Salida match did occur.

Eh, Hendo's under contract to SF, and if SF co-promotes with the UFC, I see no reason for him to turn down a decent supporting bout with, say, Leben or someone around that level.

I ahven't seen a lot of him, but what little I ahve seen makes me think Haye is a very good fighter, and a danger to Klitschko with his speed. But his trash talking isn`t making it easy to like him.

Haye's certainly a very good fighter, but IMO he's a bit small for HW, and he hasn't exactly fought the toughest opposition in the weight class. Valuev wasn't a very good champ, Ruiz was past it, and the less said about the Harrison fight the better.

Great cruiserweight, possibly the best around before he moved up, but IMO he's not in the Klitchko's league. Then again, no else in the division really is atm.

Should've posted this earlier. For Dream fans, a bantamweight tourney has been set. Although with the troubles Dream has occured, it's not set in stone.
