YAY countryfan! Beautiful Aprreciation Thread for a fellow Gen X favorite!

Husk really is one of my favorite mutants on Utopia and in true Gen X "Class President" form, she has been shown to be a consistent part of the X-men despite not having loads of panel time. All mutants should get this kind of attention. consistent, but used sporadically.

Husk is the next Dazzler! yeah!

Proof of her adaptability in the battlefield in turning to rubber mid-fall and proof of her preparedness in reading the dossiers on villains of all sorts, not just X-Villains, from Excalibur.

That said I sort of like the idea of her and Iceman together. There is something fitting in that. Plus it would add an interesting dynamic with Cannonball.

It honestly made me dislike Husk. It wasn't till Carey using her in Necrosha did I remember that I liked her.

Do we have more scans of this Husk costume? I think i like it. The girl always gets like the hand me downs of the Training Jumpers and somehow makes them work.

Is there a history of rivalry there? Or would it just be because of Angel? Cus I dont really see Psylocke caring all that much. She's much older and more experienced than Paige. She's a former super model, and she's currently with Angel. What does she have to be jealous of?

Nothing. Nothing happened with Husk and Angel. I don't ever remember seeing that in any X-book. That's crazy talk. I don't think Psylocke would have anything against Husk either. During the Necrosha arc, some people thought there was tension between them, but it was simply Husk trying to get down to solving the problem at hand, and she needed to know every little thing Betsy saw of Proteus.
