If there's any artist deserving of headlining a company wide event, Immonen is definitely that guy. He turns in consistently solid work and hits his deadlines.

Generally speaking, I find that the two page spread layout wastes space and is over used. It's only epic and effective if used sparingly and appropriately. I'm not surprised, however, that Bendis likes it.

It's not like Fear Itself 1 was short on pages.

True, but are they going to give us that many pages for that price for all 7 issues?

The last 2 Avengers I bought, and the last Thor was chock full of this sort of thing, and take a look at the Moon Knight preview. It doesn't take that long to read a decompressed comic now a days, but these sorts of comics, take about a minute. Maybe others find it worth the price, but I don't.

How come the Avengers don't come to Thor's rescue? Seriously, Odin really needs to stand up to the God of Fear as well. I mean he's the freakin' King of Asgardians, who also helped defeat the World Eaters for crying out loud.

That, and the other Asgardians connected well with the people of Earth. Who cares what Odin says. Odin should see the bonds the Asgardians have formed with the superheroes and human beings, and fight alongside Earth's Mightiest Heroes.

Immonen is a great artist, and I'm glad to see him headlining a big story like this.

One of the best Marvel artists, easily.
Top 10: Hawkguy, GIJoe Cobra, The Massive, Daredevil, Wonder Woman, Fury MAX, The Black Beetle, Batman, Winter Soldier, Suicide Squad, and The Activity.
