She was born with the beauty of Aphrodite. Why not have sex appeal?

As long as it's tastefully done of course (a.k.a. no more Wonder-thong).

Yes sex appeal is very important, not just in her character but in the supporting characters. She is not only supposed to be the most beautiful woman in the world, she is also of Greek mythology. Greek mythology is full of sex and passion and scandal. It has always baffled me why writers are afraid to write her sexuality. I don't think she should try and be overtly sexy like say Catwoman or Poison Ivy, but I do think that there is sexiness that can be relayed in the way she fights or the way she commands a room or the way she relates to some men (like Steve or Superman or Batman). With that being said most comic books who have male leads show a lot of the women half clothed and over sexed.. Why, then, do we not see the opposite in this title? In Wonder Woman (since a lot of her readers are women, and gay men) why aren't there more half naked men?? LOL

Yeah she should have sex appeal. Openness of loving the person not the gender

Of course its okay for Diana to be sexy.

A lot of people hear "sexy" and think porn. Thats not the case. Or at least, it doesnt have to be.

I mean, okay. Megan Fox is pornstar sexy. She's sexy in that dirty "do anything to her and not feel guilty the next day" kind of way. She's one night stand material.

Catherine Zeta Jones, on the other hand, is a totally different kind of sexy. She's beautiful and exotic, exudes confidence and seems comfortable with her feminism and body without being overt about it. She's got grace and poise. Thats sexy, but not the "one night stand" kind. Thats the kind of sexy Diana should have.

If you know anything at all about Marston, you know that he was all about sex. Dude was kinky, and into some stuff that, especially for the day, was pretty weird. Diana is, in part, built on sex. And any time a writer tries to take that away, the character seems to suffer.

Diana is, and should be, sexy. Just not wonder thong sexy.

I have no problem with adding a dash of sex to Wonder Woman. However, as a member of team gay, I would like to request more sex appeal from Superman, Aquaman, Batman, etc. A little eye candy for all readers would be nice.

What would that entail? More shirtless scenes? I honestly have no idea how men would be portrayed as sexy in comics. But then, as a straight man, I have a hard time understanding what women and gay men find appealing about the male form.

But sure, more of that too. I agree, a little eye candy for everyone would only be good for the industry.

Here are a few suggestions inspired by superheroine costumes:
    • Shorter/fewer capes, and more butt shots.
    • Less bulky attire and more skin tight spandex.
    • Less body armor with useful features and more skimpy, horrible impractical outfits.
    • Less eunuch and more bulge.
    • Less protection and more skin.

Ah okay. Thanks for answering the question. I say why not? Honestly....I wouldnt even notice any of those changes. Well I might notice if Superman's cape got shorter, or if a character who usually wears body armor, like say, Batman, went back to spandex. But as I wouldnt really notice these changes, and likely wouldnt notice the male cheesecake, I dont see why anyone should get offended or anything. Go for it.

Just as long as Starfire stays sexy. People can complain about the first issue of Red Hood all they want but "sexy" is actually Kori's middle name and a fair chunk of her design sensibility. Its not all she is by a long shot, but its there, and always should be.
