I think it might be a fun game again, but it does feel as if the basic concept is too 'feathery' for lack of a better word, to truly be the Arkham Asylum of Spider-man.
There's like there's a bunch of stuff missing, like the focus on the character, and use of current or semi-current continuity for this to be that good.
Well, as long as it measures up to the first one, it will at least be an enjoyable game.
The Wii gameplay / fight mechanics in Shattered Dimensions were a little glitchy (and the final Spidey 2099 fight vs. Mysterio was one of the most frustrating gameplay bits I've possibly ever experienced), but overall I did quite like the game to get me interested in this one, esp. with Peter David writing this one.
A preview by Gamepro. Looks like they might fix the camera complaints from the last game after all.
