Another #1? Is the current series going to continue to exist in another format too? I could have sworn it wasn't that long ago the series was renumbered with 600.
So Ursa Major IS going to eat Bucky!
You are correct. Which makes this frustrating. It isn't clear if this is a "NEW" series, or just a relaunch/renumbering. My prediction was that this would be a NEW series, and that the regular series would continue its numbering with the title "Tales of Suspense." Maybe there's another announcement to follow.
Captain America #1...for the FIFTH TIME? Another nail in the coffin for Marvel.
And just like FF, Daredevil, Hulk and Avengers, another reboot I will boycott on principal.
These comics are catered to speculators, not to me.
I know this is a marketing thing for the movie, but why oh why do they have to renumber this book yet again? I'm all for Steve being back as Cap (if you think about it, he really hasn't been full time as Cap since 2006 when Civil War was going on), so that doesn't bother me. I guess it's a small grievance though, since I've loved Brubaker's take on Cap so far! I don't see Mcniven lasting past the first ark though as his pace is not really best fitted for a monthly book, hopefully they have a few issues in the can before the first issue ships!
so... on 2012, should we expect the roster of the Avengers to be consisting of
Captain america
iron man
thor
hulk
hawkeye
black widow
w/ Fury
?
i honestly can't wait if that would be the case..
(oh and hopefully bendis will be not writing it...)

It's hard for me, I almost want to take that stance as well, but this is one of the few superhero books that Marvel produces that I've actually enjoyed for years. I'll be picking this up for sure, but I just wish they could have left the numbering alone though, it shows new fans who may be inclined to pick up the book the rich history this character has and could entice readers to pick up trades/back issues to read more. Just my opinion though, and I'm not in a position to make these kinds of choices sadly.
Steve back as Cap?
GOD DAMMIT!!!
I wanted him to stay as commander Roger/Supersoldier and have Bucky stay as Cap.
Oh well, is still Brubaker writing it so I'm getting this for sure
In the middle of the night...
The current art team has been all over the map in terms of quality. I said at one point that I wouldn't mind a late book if it would mean they'd get their stuff together. I welcome a change.
Well who didn't see this coming? As much as I love Steve in his current status going back to Captain America seems like a last minute thing. I liked Bucky's role better.![]()
TEAM TEEN JEAN 2013!!

It's the shocking and unexpected news that catches you as unaware as.. the sun coming up in the morning! Oh well, JQ always points out that when sales are down it's because there's not enough #1s on the stand at the LCS.
Did Wonder Woman and Superman just catch an aircraft carrier?
sigh really Marvel im really digging bucky as Cap and steve being all nick fury so the question is: Is he gonna replace bucky or like Dc there will be two Captain Americas with each having there own series which im hoping for
