Ahhhh how can they mention that but not post the cover!? That's just cruel! Her current work on "Batwoman" was next, and a cover to issue #2 was shown, featuring Batwoman training her younger cousin.
This is my favorite Batwoman image by Reeder so far. I really like the detail on the costume.

i'd buy a Reeder-drawn Spider-Man Loves Mary Jane series in a heartbeat.
It's a little sad that my first post on this much appreciated site is a rant but
for me DC editorial has killed any interest in an ongoing Batwoman title.
A great story is always more important than art and Rucka tied Batwoman
up in an going nowhere feud with an evil cult so many years it just wasn't interesting anymore.
A year from now they want me to buy the sequel to a story that wasn't
interesting in the first place while the "woman" herself clearly deserved bat-ter.
I hope Reeder gets a chance to do more creator-owned stuff at some point. I was kind of sorry to see her depreciate her own writing abilities in this article. Madame Xanadu and Batwoman are cool, but I hope she doesn't abandon evolving as a complete storyteller, telling personal stories with her own characters.
Thats a shame. I've enjoyed her covers, so I'd love to see her do interiors on Supergirl for that.
Failing that, a new Young Justice with Damian, Supergirl, Static, Blue Beetle, Miss Martian, and Impulse.![]()
Is it wrong of me to want to see her on a regular gig now, instead of Batwoman?
