Hey! Hey! Hey! Leaping Lew here- just wanted to to tell everyone that CBR's best FREE comic book, Privateer, is currently seeking fan art to help fill out the Army of Freedom print edition! Get this: your work may be selected to appear there, or it may not, but it is practically guaranteed to appear on our Facebook page! Consider this an open call! Artwork can depict anything, but it must relate to the Privateerverse in some capacity and adhere's to CBR's posting rules. The Privateer: Army of Freedom thread in the signature link below ("2") is the appropriate place to post your artwork.

    ALSO....

I've been the lead artist for two issues now, but I have some other projects looming and will not be able to continue the sequential work on the third book, so consider this an open call! Amazin' Adrian the writer/creator and I (and possibly Dynamic Dean Lee) will still be around for the third installment to assist, but we welcome the additional help fresh talent can bring. Currently the third issue has been plotted, with script revision and refinement on the way. This is your chance to help shape future issues of an emerging creative property!

Links to the first full length issues may be found in my signature line. You are also hereby ordered to got to our Facebook page and "like" us, because afterall, we are likeable. So there.

    Here's the link: https://www.facebook.com/PrivateerTheLineofDuty
Check out my art on Privateer 1 & 2!

Default Writer Seeking Artist - Because this so often goes well.

“Man-Made” is about Adam Hobbes, a man with the power to control the earth. When his family is killed during a battle between out of control super humans, he seeks vengeance against them and The Bureau that was supposed to control them. In a massive assault he is captured, imprisoned, and branded a villain.
Years after, when The Bureau discovers super humans are going rogue, its shadowy Chief assigns agent Thomas Cavallho to release Adam from his imprisonment and hunt down the wayward heroes. The mission leads Adam and Thomas into battles against beings with the powers of gods, and uncovers dark secrets about the Bureau’s past - and its future.

That's the pitch/summary for my story, 'Man-Made.' And before I go any further I'll just get this out of the way: No, I can not pay an artist. If I could, I would. If that's enough right there to stop you, thanks anyways. I understand and appreciate that artists are a prized commodity and can typically set whatever prices they want and often find them met. This, on the other hand, is purely a labor of love.

My name is Matt Davis and I am an amateur writer, writing with the intent of breaking in to the comics industry. My story is plotted for a 12 issue run, the first two issues finalized and the third in the works. This is something for the long haul, and I know that's daunting but I'm wholly dedicated to seeing this project to fruition. If there's anyone out there interested, I sincerely look forward to hearing from you. If not, I'll just keep trying.

Anyone interested in samples of my writing, my writing blog is at www.thegreyspace.com - None of it's my comic scripting, but it should give an idea as to my ability as a writer, if that matters.

Need an artist for these 5 pages to submit your comic pitch to Image (or some other company)?

Need someone commited and fast, to work on your webcomic pages without missing deadlines/updates?

Maybe need a colorist for your project?

Or a concept artist to design characters/items/enviroments for your game?

Need an avatar for your account, logo for your company, banner for your blog, icons for your app, cover for your comic, or something else?

Look no further, you`ve found an artist!

I have done all these things and more, including strips, sketches, fanarts, character sheets, and a long etc. I work in almost any style, from normal western comic style, to manga, cartoony, chibi, sketchy, anything. Id rather not give you a price list, i prefer if you tell me about your budget and your project, and im sure we can work something out

I leave you with a few links and my email adress, and hopefully we can work together in the near future.

    Thanks!

In addition to my own projects I'd like to work with an artist and write for their project pro-bono.
I'm currently writing the series for my independent comic book R U I N. I need an artist with the talent and style to work with me on the first issue. Think Mad Max meets Alien. I need preliminary sketches of principal characters and scenes. If I like your art and you like the direction of the book, provide me with the necessary sketches unpaid. I'll use the initial artwork to crowd-fund the project and then pay you $40 per page to complete the first issue, this is negotiable. Strong Comic art styling is a must. If you're willing to invest a little free time upfront this could be an ongoing paying gig. If the Kickstarter isn't successful I will pay you out-of-pocket for any sketch work you do.

Those curious about the book and art direction please reach out to me. darkersho@gmail.com

    Best,
    RD

I'm looking for a talented comic artist to partner with for a comic series that I've been working on. The project will last over 1 year and will require that you produce 24 pages per month. Payment will be split between a page rate and royalties. You won't get rich off the page rate (as you can see from the compensation amount) so I'm looking for someone who believes that the comic will deliver large royalties.

    Email your portfolio to betvingeant@gmail.com.

I will only respond to applicants who are well suited for this position.

Default I Want To Edit Your Comics

Hey guys I'm a long time comic fan. Some of my favorites are Y the last man. and Preacher. I'm currently working on my own project but I wont bore anyone with the details until it's at a place that I feel deserves your attention. In the mean time I'm always interested in reading what others have going on. I'd be willing to thoroughly edit your scripts just for the sake of wanting you guys to succeed. I think editing and thinking critically makes me a better writer and I know how hard it is to get someone to seriously take a look at our work

If anyone is concerned about credentials I've an english degree from University of Louisville and currently work in a High School Library. I'm very well read and would do my best to reply in a timely fashion. As we all know breaking into comics is hard work and the whole "crabs in a barrel" mentality gets really old after awhile. So I'd like to help out where I can. I do ask if youre interested reply back or Pm and we can have a realy discussion about your work.

Send an e-mail if interested: http://forums.comicbookresources.com...ember&u=101361

    Hello,

My name is Giovanni Maldonado and I have a superhero story in mind. Most of it is planned out, but I've only written the first couple of issues. Basically, it's a superhero book that combines mythology (mostly Japanese), some sci-fi, as well as messing around with history. I'm sorry I'm not dwelling too much on the story, it's just that I'm a little paranoid of divulging this kind of information publicly The plan would be to work on the first issue and submit it to a publisher and see if they would accept it. Unfortunately, I can't offer any money at the moment.

I would like to assemble a creative team to work on this project. I'm need of an artist, inker, colorist and letterer. If you are skilled in more than one of the disciplines let me know. Also, I'm from Puerto Rico and I would love to be able to work with people that are nearby. (It would make the collaborative process easier) However, if you're not from PR don't get discouraged and contact me. Honestly, I just want to work on a project and try to get it published.

My e-mail is g.j.maldonado007@gmail.com. If you decide to contact me, please send me an example of what you've worked on or at least a link. Thank you for your time.
