I like historical fiction but I'm less thrilled by Pak
Those Aja covers are AWESOME!
I want more normal childhood origins, where a dude is, like, 25 when he decided to be evil. Change it up.
the Red Skulls origin has already been told so im less excited about this.
I'm actually quite excited for this. I like that Pak is aware he needs to tell a great story while at the same time not glorifying the nazis in any way, shape or form. I hope the people making the Captain America movie are just as mindful. I'm also glad Marvel is being brave by doing something intelligent like this instead of going for mindless entertainment all the time.
These tons of precedents of this sort of story being amazingly well done. Magneto Testament of course being the first but as Brian Bollard's Joker and Luthor series as well as Ed Brubaker's Doom series. All of them becoming the defining stories of the villians we love to hate.
I'm a fan of Pak & that art looks great so I'm excited for this.
His Magneto Testament was really well done looking forward to how he does Red Skull.
