... I'm not sure, but I'm back to thinking it's Jean again. Why would they butt heads over it? Maybe Scott, with his new approach, wants to kill Jean, but Logan doesn't?

I'm thinking Xorn. He is the only character from Morrison's X Men that could have that sort of impact.
