I can't wait to see the new footage. It sounds like things are on a better track than we generally thought. That said, I'm surprised at how slow DC / WB has been to turn up the hype machine on this movie. A smattering of pictures, a populist trailer and then relative silence on the movie until this weekend. Andthe next trailer isn't coming out until May ahead of a mid-June release date? I realize that most of this movie is being created in post production and the CGI shots are going to be worked on right up until the end but it feels like they're not promoting it heavily enough to get the attention it needs to get noticed in a VERY competitive summer. If this movie doesn't open big and do very well then the 3 movie plan goes down the crapper.

This was a great panel! I was totally indifferent toward Blake Lively before this, but she was pretty funny and seemed genuinely excited for/invested in the Carol role. I'm surprised the article didn't mention any of the Star Sapphire talk between her and the fans.

I always thought she gave off the vibe of being really excited. I know in an interview awhile back she said how excited she was to kick serious ass as Sapphire. I'm not familiar with any of her work either and she comes across as being kind of dense but she seems like a good fit.

Also, I need to see this new footage!
