I have to say, Green Lantern, under John's pen, is fastly becoming my favorite title to pick up monthly...a couple more good issues and it may over take Red Robin by Nicieza. And that is saying a lot.

John has some of the biggest beats in this. You'll definitely see who he becomes out of the War of the Green Lanterns, but his role within this I think will be very surprising.

Being a John Stewart fan is so frustrating. Promises are always made but never kept. Creators keep talking about him like he is important but portray him as a boring afterthought. It seems like Bruce Timm, Dwayne McDuffie and the rest of the Justice League animators were the only ones that made an effort concerning Stewart. I hope this time the story will REALLY serve the character.

I was hoping Johns would explain how the entities were able to take over the guardians. Is it because they're emotionless that it was easier for the entities to take over rather than making each individual guardian feel that specific emotion?

John Stewart has the same problem that Blade has over at Marvel, they are more interesting outside of comics.

I agree. I am hoping that a good writer will take a real interest in the character and add some emotional depth so people can relate to him. I wish that the same thing will be done with Blade also.
