The group match is won by the Inhumans. There is nobody on the X-Men side that can stop BB from speaking.

BB also beats Magneto, as far as the solo fights go.

Yeah, Black Bolt could solo the X-Men team.

In before "Emma Frost solos". There's not really much in the initial fight start salvos that stops Bolt from doing his cover of Shout. At which point the X-men are vapour.

This has been done a few times, to note.

I'm more interested in Karnak vs Wolverine and Emma vs. Maximus.

Flip a coin in Emma/Maximus. The fellow has done everything from psychic illusions to mindslaving cities to long term buried subtle telepathic viruses in the Inhuman race.

Karnak.. I realize it's a low showing, but I'm still not quite getting over "a little girl done punked me."

What little girl? Molly Hayes? Because Molly has punked Wolverine more than once.

    Luna. No, really.

Karnak had a very long dark teatime of the soul quality of showings at one point.

Namor would totally cream Triton. He is much stronger. They both have super science. Namor flies. Not that Triton is a pushover but, Namor is the Avenging Son. Triton would have to be lucky.

The Black Bolt on Utopia? He wouldn't hold back unless it was in his city (the way he is in the last few years anyway.) In the past he wouldn't use his voice against sometimes allies or even living things unless it was life or death for his subjects.

Is Maximus's only power TP/Mind control?

Does he have superhuman reflexes, strength, durability, TK, martial arts, or anything?

If he's only got the psychic powers then what's stopping Emma from just turning diamond and snapping his neck?

He's a powerful enough psychic that if she isn't either launching attacks to make him defend, or actively putting a lot of effort into fending him off, he's going to mind-screw her a long time before she's going to be doing any neck-breaking. Among other things, he can probably just force her to revert back to flesh form.

As Pendaran notes, Maximus is not a minor-league opponent by any stretch of the imagination. He's psychically very powerful, he's smart and he's usually quite subtle. If the Inhumans weren't such second-stringers and/or if their stories interacted more often with the general Marvel Universe, Maximus would probably rate pretty high on the threat scale.

Honestly, one of the things I thought was cool in Marvel a couple years back was Black Bolt's involvement with the Illuminati, as that looked to potentially be a way to increase the role the Inhumans play in the MU. Other than the Eternals, the Inhumans are possibly the biggest untapped story pool in the MU. That was pretty much dashed to shit by having it revealed that for a good chunk of the time anyhow, that wasn't even Black Bolt, but rather a Skrull impostor.

    Uhh Telepath.. uh Telepath..
Rogue and Bishop's daughter would be called Discharge, and she'd touch people and drain all or some of their bioelectrical energy out of them causing them to either die or fall unconscious. She could then use this energy to extend her own life, heal herself, enhance her physical abilities (speed, strength, stamina,) or discharge it as various energy beams.

What if Dazzler took Beast's place on the X-Men team?
