Guice's artwork looks different.![]()
Top 10: Hawkguy, GIJoe Cobra, The Massive, Daredevil, Wonder Woman, Fury MAX, The Black Beetle, Batman, Winter Soldier, Suicide Squad, and The Activity.
I used to love Guice's work when I was growing up, him and Scott Williams did amazing work on Deathlok in the early 90's, but lately his stuff looks odd. Thinking it's the inking, I liked the preview here though. Adding Chris Samnee on is going to be great as well, he's really underrated, hope this Cap run boosts his profile a bit.
When Guice came in on Iron Man to sub for De La Torre (During the Legendary, underrated Knauf's run) I loved his work!
When Guice started filling in on Cap, I was happy.
When Guice became regular artist on #606, I returned to the book and was happy.
THEN, his art started looking rushed, bland, and unimpressive. Stefano Gaudiano stepped in to help him Inking during that last story arc and i think help right the ship. This looks like Gaudiano's inks on these preview pages, and they look fabulous.
Looks like another heart to heart between Jarvis and Steve about whether Captain America is needed instead of Commander Rogers.
And not sure why someone killed with a sledgehammer happened there. Were they protecting Bucky?
Visited NY and DC and saw Spider-Man Turn off the Dark.
that fury's face in the background on the second to last page?
RIP Spider-Man
Just wondering, has Brubaker stated anything about how long he'll keep on writing Captain America?
