Bugger me, WB listened!
Awww... Whatever happened with the shimmy pants?
Kidding. Glad to know WB is listening to its fans :)
This is coming dangerously closing to seeming like it should say, "And now, stay tuned for a SyFy Made-For-TV World Premiere Movie..."
Hahaha, really.
I liked the shiny pants and blue boots. Had a sexy strangeness about them.
That second pic is totally hilarious.
Palicki and the stunt double must be so uncomfortable running around with the no real support for their chest.
At least they listened to people who actually know what they are talking about for once.
The darker blue on the pants plus the red boots make the costume about a hundred times better. It isn't perfect, but at least now it isn't a punchline anymore.
Frozen people can't concentrate, they are frozen.
Exploded people can't concentrate, they've been blown up.

I don't think it's really a matter of WB listening to anyone, and more of the natural evolution of the costume design.
Kudos for listening to the fans! Red boots and action packed. My faith is restored and excitement is well deserved. :)
Lots of improvements!
But this also hints that Wonder Woman won't be flying much...

Don't be so sure. I recall Lynda Carter describing her costume as being practically body armor.
And it shows.
Watch the old show carefully, the suit was so rigid and padded she couldn't turn her shoulders without turning her hips as well. I would not at all be surprised if the same concept were carried on in the new show's costume using more modern materials allowing for the same rigidity and support without the bulk.
And that is most definitely a stunt double in the second shot. The facial structure is quite a bit different.

Not shiny, but still as absurd. Not sure if it's the costume, Palicki herself, or a combo of both. Somehow, as fetishy as the promo image looked, this kinda looks worse.
For one thing, she's fit, but totally not athletic looking. Even the WWE divas, who see almost no real ring action, seem far more toned. Palicki seems horribly soft underpowered to play this character.
Also not sure that the combination of materials work. The stars, while a nice homage to the old costume, seem tacky here. In conjunction with the vinyl look to the top & boots, she's looking a bit like a comic con cosplayer. I'd have ditched the stars, changed the top & boots to something a little more matte, and maybe even have added the jacket of the recent redesign.
Finally, nothing says fake like plastic. All of those supposed metal bits? They look cheap. That doesn't speak well for the production.
David E. Kelly should stick to the genre he knows. I don't even give this a full season. If it gets a 13 ep order, I predict that it'll be gone before 7 or 8. That's me being generous too. This looks bad. CAPE bad.
In reference to the first pic w/ Adrianne

It's possible they wanted to generate buzz by putting something undesirable out there so when they fixed it the FANS HAD BUY IN!
Now that the fans are part of the process they'll want to see the outcome.
This theory gives WB a lot of credit, but PR/Marketing usually work at this level so one shouldn't be surprised or feel too empowered.
