Now this I like a lot. Mayhew does draw a very good Jean.

What if the silhouette in AvX 12 is that of a woman and not a man? What if AvX ends with Cyclops dying and Jean comes to take all or some of the fragments with her and pulls Cyclops to the White Hot Room and they fade away together?

that will be a nice ending....In many way I don't feel that Jean need to be front and center of AVX or need to comeback at the end of it, but with all that have been said about Jean and her connection to the phoenix I think she should at least appear at the end of it....
AVX without Jean appearing at all feel like there is a vital ingredient missing for me....

If only. The X-offices seem to be indifferent to Jean, and Cyke seems to be happy with his blonde blow-up doll. Another thing bothering me about this Phoenix Force Five crap is that this whole thing should get Cyclops thinking, "So this is a fraction of what it was like for Jean."and maybe getting closer to her, even reaching out to her on the other side. But no. It's all fight, fight, fight, and no emotion.
Thus do I write the first chapter of my new scripture. And the first verse is "Let it all burn."

That and I'm pretty sure the current people in the X-Offices have said they'd never get rid of Cyclops. That there is no X-Men without him. Which is a laugh, there was an X-Men without him for years.

That's an interesting point. One of Cyke's problems in there relationship was Jean's power. I doubt he'll even consider empathizing with her situation.

Of course not, Scott's relationships have always been about him. Look at how he treated Maddie and then Jean (in New X-Men). Emma is just content to be his prop for some reason.

Although I wouldn't want Cyclops to die, Professor X can always lead the X-Men (in the end, and you know that, the X-men will be one team once again led by professor X, though I like the current set-up and Cyclops' character development), and Wolverine is already leading his faction of X-Men.

Time to face reality, Jean fans. Marvel hates you.
Sorry Brevoort, Alonso and Lowe, but Jean Grey is a classic character. She'll outlive you regardless. :)

Apparently, because Jean Grey emasculates Summers or something like that.

    It's irrational.
