Someone ask Bendis if Jean will interact with the Phoenix.
Sorry Brevoort, Alonso and Lowe, but Jean Grey is a classic character. She'll outlive you regardless. :)

Bendis/Marvel is letting Jean know her future for a reason. Jean being in the future she will haft to grow up faster.

I think Bendis will want to establish Jean in her own right. No outside entity, she'll be strong in her own right. Her powers are hers.

Aaron: We see the first echoes of "All-New X-Men" in "Wolverine and the X-Men" #24, our "date night" issue. But that's certainly not the last time you'll see ripples from one book affecting the other.

X-Termination Teaser revealed it's an upcoming crossover between AGE OF APOCAPLYSE, X-TREME X-MEN and ASTONISHING X-MEN. AOA Jean will be involved.
I want to see what Prophet thinks of the 616. I want to see AoA Nightcrawler meet young X-Treme Nightcrawler. I want to see AoA Jean meet up with Wolverine again. The event which brings them all together is massive, fate of the multiverse type stuff.

I think they want fans to check out books they usually don't follow and a crossover does just that. Hoping the story's good.
