Maybe in those early days Xavier had to actively keep those blocks in place. He was always there in those early days when Jean's TP was locked. Coming to the present means no one is there to keep the blocks in place. Though it does mean past Xavier would know the O5 aren't there?

That could be it, but still doesn't explain how she's suddely able to use it. It would be fine if she was just reading, but mind control didn't come till way later if I recall correctly.

But yeah I did appreciate her getting excited about it. And I love the fact that she thinks Logan's thoughts are gross. Which makes me wonder what he was thinking when he saw her. Freaking perv.

Warren's a possibility as his future ain't that great.

But there are a few things Jean doesn't know yet.
-Logan love triangle
-Marriage to Scott
-How she died
-Madelyn and the alternate reality kids

So she's still got a few bombs hovering over her.

Does she not know how she died? I thought she figured that out. Then again, which time would people tell her about it? if it's the Xorneto one, she's going to have a nice little reaction to Mags.

Judging by Marvel's use and the covers to ANX 5 and 6 the DPS still counts. I doubt they'll get into Xorneto much if at all.

I may be wrong, but covers tend to lie too, and I think with all the spoiling this series has it would not surprise me if they pull a fast one and have Teen Bobby be the subject of the change (Or someone more likely).

She knows she dies, She knows of charles death and what happens to Scott. I think she even mentions she still sifting through everything little by little.

The end result is we know they will stay at the JGSHL but i'm willing to bet it'll be based off what T.Jean learns for R.Scott, she's learned a few things from Logan so the next obvious character is R.Scott and what she see's is probably the panel in black and white that's floating around the net where she blasts everything around her with her TK
