I would like her pink phoenix signature. She had it in the 90s when she went by Phoenix in the Jim Lee look and the Revolution run. Hoping her new costume will fit with the pink power signature.

Of course artist can make it more distinguish and a lot better, this was just me with 7 minutes in photoshop

I wouldn't mind that, but she needs a new costume ASAP.

Thus do I write the first chapter of my new scripture. And the first verse is "Let it all burn."

After the first arc Marquez is doing the art for the next few issues so it would be awesome if Jean got a new costume for him to draw.

Bendis said that pointing out specifics or anachronisms didn’t interest him. He gave a rough estimate of the X-Men being formed “12 years ago”
So much has happened in those 12 years for the x-men.

AOA #9 has a lot of Jean in it. It's one of those good books that goes unnoticed. You guys should check it out.

I wonder if she'll keep the "Marvel Girl" moniker after the first arc.

Well according to Wikipedia the adult Jean Grey:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jean_Grey

    Education

Jean Grey is a college graduate from Metro College with a select education in psychology. Years later she finished her masters in Columbia University during her membership with the original X-Factor.

The Jean Grey coming here this week is probably just graduating high school.

Currently in the running for the most unexpectedly entertaining thing I've encountered this week, I found this linked in another forum and since I was curious and had some time I figured I'd give it a shot. I had to keep myself from laughing out loud in my office several times.

    From the hosting site description:

Jean Grey. Phoenix. Marvel Girl. Who is this red-headed darling of the X-Men,
and why do so many gay men worship her? Join Pat, the bear-skin rug and Eric,
the muscle daddy to find out exactly who the bigger Jean Grey fanboy actually
    is!"

So Jean has a something of a gay following. Who knew?

The podcast is about an hour and a half long and these guys cover just about everything, and hearing them talk about Jean and the X-Men was pretty funny.

*Sigh of relief* Just checked, and yep... Polaris is still Magneto's daughter. Dodged another bullet.

This was the first I'd heard of this show, but it was pretty amusing so I'm glad I saw the link posted.

    Thank goodness. Worst relationship ever.

Also I'm not surprised Jeannie has a big gay following.
"She has been the weakest one, the strongest one, the sanest one, the craziest one. She has been the nurturer and the dependent. They want all this from her and more."
