That casting alone would guarantee great ratings from fans of Lost, and work perfectly for the show as well, I completely agree 100%!

I just hope the show does the characters and world justice. The random and absurd things in the comic have to remain, I don't really expect it to follow the comic's plot and be an issue by issue remake, as long as it keeps the spirit I'm happy.

I read that mentally as Ken Jeong... although that could work too, in a totally different way...

Great news, this is one of the better efforts I've ever seen of taking a unique concept and still building a complete world that doesn't feel gimmicky.

I just had to register at the CBR boards to say: HOLY $%&#!!! I've been having the same idea for a Chew show since last year after Lost ended!!! I didn't see much of the last season but saw enough of the Leung/Holloway (alternate timeline) interaction as LAPD cops to realize they'd make terrific personifications of Both Chu and Colby. I can already see Leung staring at a "delicious" glass of beet juice right next to a delightful plate of beet salad while Holloway shouting at him "stop being such a f*cking freak and eat your sh*t, we've gotta move!!!" I'd laught at that for days.

There really should be some sort of internet sign call to get these actors on the show.

(I hope multi-quoting that much isn't banned on the boards).

Everytime I think I'm going to cancel my cable and just stay with Netflix, some new show comes out that I really want to see. Had to wait until AMC released The Walking Dead and I'm all in on the second season. Gotta get my daily dose of Conan O'Brien on TBS. Can't wait for Game of Thrones on HBO. And now I'm gonna have to wait until Chew is out on Showtime. LOL

ever since this show/comic was being teased "Miles" and "Saywers" names have been tossed in to the ring.....they are great choice, and would get a built in viewership from Losties......I'm just more concerened w/ the 1/2 format....I guess it could work, as Californication is a good show at times...i just hope the bigger ideas from the comic aren't left out, or that they just run w/ the idea of the cibopath (sp) and forget the comic alltogether.

This is going to be epic. With Chew, Walking Dead and Powers coming to a TV near you, it will be an amazing 2011-2012 for great comics. I wonder how long before Invincible finds its way to TV.

Ken Leung and Josh Holloway were born to play those roles. I'm just hoping no one casts Masi Oka (aside from the fact that he's Japanese unlike the Chus, he's just such a bad actor). There's been a lot of talks about the main characters (Tricia Helfer for Amelia's role, yeah right). But how about the secondary characters? Here's a start: Russell Wong as Chow Chu and for season 2 (potentially) Grace Park as Toni Chu!
