SPIDER ISLAND announced as a storyline beginning in August drawn by Humberto Ramos!
Hell Yeah---Looks Great So Far!
Need To See More---Not Sure
Currently Reading ASM But This Doesn't Look Great
Not Reading ASM And This Won't Change That
Everyone gets Spider-powers.
Villains and heroes apparently.
Some pics were shown in G4 Attack of the Show.
The video should be up soon.
It's the city of Manhattan getting spider-powers. And the arc is called Spider Island.
Nothing about it really screams "we need a serious artist!"
I know Kevin Nichols through a guy that knows a gal. Small world!
If nihilism didn't take some delight in destruction one might suspect nihilists were an unnaturally morbid sort.

Yup. Here be the video.

16,000 New Yorkers gain Spider-based super-powers. According to host Blair Butler, this includes Hawkeye and the Shocker.
A piece that looks like a cover features the Hulk, Iron Fist, the Thing and Captain America in costumes resembling Spidey's various suits.
Interior pages suggest that Carlie Cooper is one of the people who gains spider-powers.
There was an earlier promo with Mary Jane crawling on a wall, indicating that she too gains powers.
And there's a picture with Peter Parker VS. the Jackal.
J Jonah Jameson places Manhattan under Quarantine.
nice thanks for the link. looks interesting. (hopefully he will get his spidey sense back)
So now Jackal is back, I guess 655 was a foreshadow to his return.
No offense, But WTH?!?
Are they that desperate for fans to come in ?!?
I mean that just...that just...I want to say it a bad mixture of Batman Inc. with Superman powers gone wrong, but that just too easy.
I mean Dang it, this almost makes even me, a fan of the Spider-man (pre-OMD) character, sick of Marvel top Icon.![]()
Anybody else hope Jameson gets Spider-powers just to see what happens?
"if you ever disagree it means that you are wrong."
"With Great Power...Comes Great Responsibility."
"I've never asked for much. Like everyone else, I know the odds are always against us. That's just the way the universe works. I don't want guarantees, promises, assurances or false hopes. All I've ever asked is for one chance to stand on my own feet and give it my best shot. Succeed or fail, live or die, if I know I tried, then I can accept whatever happens."

No Mayday, so unlikely that he will.
I know Kevin Nichols through a guy that knows a gal. Small world!
