Superman On The Brave and the Bold This Friday

It's the superhero smackdown that will have comic-book fans salivating: Superman vs. Batman. When Batman: The Brave and the Bold returns with new episodes this Friday (March 25, 6:30/5:30c on Cartoon Network), the Caped Crusader heads to Metropolis to help the Man of Steel take down Lex Luthor in a team-up of the so-called "world's finest" heroes. But when Superman gets mysteriously infected with red kryptonite he becomes a power-hungry egomaniac. It's up to Batman — with an assist from Krypto the Superdog! — to subdue Superman until the red-k wears off.

This episode, "Battle of the Superheroes," marks Superman's first full-fledged appearance on the series. (He's previously made a cameo.)

I've been wanting to see Superman on this show for a long time. So disappointed that it's going to be another Batman vs corrupted Superman.

I’m sure there will be shout outs to Beppo the Super-Ape too. They love referencing super obscure stuff like that.

This is great news. I've been wanting to see Superman on the show for awhile now. It'll be great to finally see him, and Bats together in the show.

It is, I believe. It went on hiatus around when Young Justice started up. CN is like choosing to group the remaining episodes in a very odd way.

We will- ther is an episode with her planned, as well as one that has both her and Superman teaming up with Batman.

So many shoutouts in this episode, Superdickery, Jimmy Olsen's various forms, Superman vs Batman DKR throwdown.

Also, I was pleasantly surprise to see Superman actually beat Batman in a fight.

I've never seen a single episode of B:TBATB until tonight. I decided to DVR it just to see Superman. Dude...I loved it! It was freakin' hilarious and I totally dug the 50's comic book vibe. Just like everyone here mentioned, it had so many shout outs that it should please every superfan.

You should watch some of the earlier episodes. The Bat-mite episodes, the musical and Aquaman's family vacation, especially.
