I could have sworn this was brought up already somewhere, but can't find it

can we all take notice of how f'ing terrible the Black Mirror trade cover is?

    http://www.amazon.com/Batman-Black-M...3705213&sr=8-1

WHAT?! I hope to god that doesn't stick. For one, I feel like it's a terrible idea to use those "iconic" covers being that they're just dull, and tons of whitespace doesn't usually look appealing most of the time, and second what the hell is wrong with the Batman logo? Why is it blurry? And why is the N deformed?

Just use the 871 cover, it's perfect for a trade as well.

I was thinking this exact same thing (including using the cover for 871) when surfing Amazon today.

I don't know, but that trade is only 160 pages and says it features stories about the three Robins, so I doubt it.

Amazon's cover are not always the real one, sometimes it is just promotional images.

Nah, that cover has too many changes to it (the title text up top, and credits) to be just a promotional one. Usually, Amazon placeholder covers are either very generic or just some old cover.

The Black Mirror writing over the faded Batman text looks a little off putting, but it's nice. Though I liked #871's cover image better, this one makes a little more sense (use the one with the big Bat-logo, of course) and still is a good image anyway.

I doubt that's the final cover, Amazon does this a lot. Before the official cover for Batman VS Robin Vol 2 was revealed, Amazon used the one with Batman fighting against Robin
"Criminals are a cowardly, superstitious lot." - Dick Grayson
"That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard." - Damian Wayne

Interesting. If it's an actual oversized deluxe edition rather than just a reprint I will definitely be picking it up.

    and BRAVE AND BOLD #153-165,
I think this means to say 153, 156 and 165. Cuz those are the only B&B stories Newton did. Not the rest in the solicit.

DC discarded their history, and now has none. DC will always be in the shadows of their past work.
