    1. DC didn't take Constantine back;
    2. They never made a big deal about it.

Yeah its fans making a big deal about Swamp Thing, who personally I'm glad isn't the protector of the lantern. They said that the protector has shown up in the series already, so I'm going to have to dig back in my past issues to see if I notice anyone.

Why when I think of who the White Lantern will be does someone by the initials D.H. come to mind. (Not H.H.)
Probably wrong but it would make very good sense.

At least to me, and remember nonsense is a sense.

Im betting they are lying and it's Swamp Thing. The guy on the cover is John Constantine.

I'd be willing to bet money on it, actually.

Im willing to bet its Don Hall. I mean in the panel he says "consider blackest night and brightest day one long epic" and that they have been shown in brightest day. I'd assume the hesitation was because he had to think if they had tried to res Don Hall in brightest day (which they did)

Plus Geoff Johns said a while ago during blackest night that we would see why Don Hall was not made a black lantern and as of yet, we still have not been givin a reason.

That is who my initials D.H. were referencing.
Years ago Mark Waid called Barry Allen the Patron Saint of the DC Universe.
However I think we have seen Don fits that description much better.

I will look forward to how Hank handles it if this does come to fruition.

Don Hall resurrected as the White Lantern guardian of life? That would be really cool, and makes a lot of sense. I could go for that, though I bet people would flip over Johns bringing back another character who died in the Crisis. But it's not like anyone had even thought of Don between the Crisis and Blackest Night.

Not that I wouldn't be happy to see Don back, but that probably means Dawn and/or Hank will be killed because DC can't help but kill off its characters.
Hawk&Dove was my first DC Comic series besides Batman back in the 90s.
Between Johns and Robinson and the rest, DC has just gotten way too bloodthirsty with their characters and its turned me right off.

I think even if Don was resurrected, Dawn would still be alive, she has been shown to be in future Birds of Prey solicits still.

Disappointed there wasn't more talk about Deadman. Boston's journey in "Brightest Day" has been the best story IMHO and I really hope at the end of "Brightest Day" he has a more prominent role in the DCU.

I know I need to reconcile with myself that of all the resurrected characters Deadman is the mostly likely to go back to the grave permanently at the end of "Brightest Day". But I've enjoyed Deadman's story so much in "Brightest Day" that I really hope he doesn't get lost in the shuffle moving forward. I know we have the "Flashpoint" mini to look forward to, so I hope that's just a sign of good things to come for the character. And fingers crossed he's involved in "Brightest Day Aftermath: The Search".

This is what we call a knee-jerk reaction.
