I am ready for Matt to get back to Hell's Kitchen and be the old DD again. Great choices on the creative team here. Looking forward to see where they taken him now, even if it is home.
It would be nice to know what's going to happen with T'Challa now that Matt's making his way back to his old stomping grounds.

Awww! YoU caught my logic slug. Did it hurt your brain?
Man, I am there.
This makes me happy from the interview:
No plans for the existing foes, except to say that -- with all due respect to the fantastic work of all my predecessors -- I can go a long, long time without ever seeing Kingpin or a ninja again. You'll see some new villains, but more interestingly, you'll see some Marvel bad guys who don't normally face off against DD. Artist Paolo Rivera, for instance, suggested Klaw, Master of Sound, and I got on that like black on a bowling ball.
Martin is an interesting artist choice to me. His Spider-Man work has, in general, been a bit more bright and vibrant than I've come to expect from a Daredevil comic. I'll be curious if either his art or the coloring changes.

This does sound good, though it does look unlikely that Elektra will show up in the book. I was hoping she would her sporadic appearnces in H4H are not enough. Having said that, having him take on new/different villains has been needed for a long time so I will definitely be on board for this.

It seems way may see a sunnier side of Mr. Murdock. Might be fresh. As much as love the hardened, noir tones of Miller-Bendis-Bru's run...it probably is time to lighten up a bit, especially since he is returning from the dark side.
I just finished reading his Irredeemable and Incorruptible trades. And I have to say Mark Waid has been on a role lately..I had known him from his Kingdom Come work.
SO this creative team, with Paolo Rivera and Marcos Martin is going to be interesting.
Campy Stan Lee??? I dont think so

Good point. Irredeemable has been anything but campy. Great read by the way!
When I first read that Waid was writing this I wasn't overly happy, but after reading this interview I think he really has Matt's character down. I especially like the comparison of Matt to Hank Moody, I think there is some emotional issues that these two characters share, plus I just love Californication!
However that said I hate the idea of Matt being drafted into one of the teams, I've always seen Matt as not a team player, and kinda hoped that he would remain a character that was not an Avenger etc.
Also not too fond of Klaw, but we'll just have to see what happens with that!
