Default CBR: C2E2: Dynamite Entertainment Panel

Dynamite Entertainment hosted a panel featuring news of a new "Evil Ernie" series, more "Battlefields" from Garth Ennis, and continuous hints towards a "Bionic Man" series.

Glad to know Ennis will take another shot at Crossed.

With the new Evil Ernie stuff coming out, I hope there's a chance for "Evil Ernie in Santa Fe" getting followed, or at least, reprinted. It was a smart story with awesome art.

Not a surprise that they're cutting back on Green Hornet comics. I don't think those took off like they were hoping they would. I don't even remember the last time I saw Green Hornet Strikes solicited.

I'm glad Warlord of Mars and Dejah Thoris are doing well, though.

I could be down for the Voltron book. Not so much for the Bionic Man.

I still am turned off the way Dynamite snaps up a license...promotes it...then "forgets" the title in favor of the next property.

I would imagine that if something sold well enough, they would keep publishing it. (Red Sonja has two series and countless miniseries and one-shots.) But, yeah, I get what you're saying. I know I'd love to see them do more with Buck Rogers.

A Garth Ennis Battlefields story about the OSS would be an interesting read.

Ardden still has it as well. Besides the current Red Sword mini they're doing with Flash they say they've got another one after that.

But I'm sure with all the delays in actually getting the book out is having Dynamite say "Well we're not going to wait for them to finish, we'll start up ours now."

Voltron has potential if they can get a good creative team on it. Maybe they could have Alex Ross do the interiors. I'd buy that.
Pull List: Transformers, Green Lantern, Batman Inc, Justice League, East of West and Deathmatch.

I want a bad ass Power Rangers comic. similar to the original three seasons with the characters the same but a tweaked origin. make Zordon and Rita wizards or something.
