    Im so tired of Marvel promoting themselves.

    How about we spend a bit of time eharing about the books instead of how important certian and apparently only certain creators are.

    They've barely started and already you're complaining?

    And look! The preview pages have revealed the creators for their new Daredevil and Punisher books.

    Well, the new Daredevil series seems to be very cool. The creative team is super, I love those artists!

    Why would anyone want The Runaways to appear in a Moon Knight series? Convention fans are weird.

    I'd heard Waid would be on Daredevil & was already excited but Martin as well?
    Looks like another book I'm definitely getting.

    I dunno, we'll see how Daredevil turns out. I'm surprised Rucka wasnt put on that instead.

    With is weird. Fred Van Lente is the writer on the Daredevilpage, but the article only announce Mark Waid as the writer.
    And I'm not glad Marcos Martin is doing artwork on Daredevil. I'm not a fan of him. Gonna give the book a shot but it really have to be great for me to keep it on the pull-list. Or maybe I will just skip the issues with him on it

    Nah the preview pages make out like it's Van Lente writing Daredevil and its Mark Waid, which has been known for a few days now.

    See what gets me is they just don;t even seem to be trying to push anythign that isn't movie, Bendis or Fear Itself realted.

    Sad as it is how few books are being released that don't involve one of the above but Marvel isn't just about self promotion. It should be about making sure that every one of their books is promoted well.

    These guys are jokers. Seriously. It's all hype not marketing.

    If you look at the solicitations for June on diamonds website, there are a few new books being released.

    Captain America Corps
    Kazar
    All Winners Squad
    Supreme Powers
    Iron Age
    Mystery Men

    They hekp back the solicitations for a week. What's the point when all they talk about it bloody Bendis and Fraction.

    There is also the minor point that 70% of Marvels regular MU titles are double shipping that month.

    See in one post I've just given you more information than the whole hour of this panel will have.

    Nice to hear that Paolo and Marco both on Daredevil. Neither are really monthly artists, but alternating arcs will work to keep them both on track. I like that Mark plans to keep the series gritty and street level, but a little more swashbuckling and less depressing. Great stuff.

    Sorry to nitpick but.....
    I swear that origin page by Van lente is wrong. Matt wasn't a teenager when he got his powers and he definitely didn't look like a teen in Bru's run but I guess there going by the golden age account.

    Waid could be good, I thought the Punisher was starting in June though

    I see they are going to piecemeal us to death on the new books from the 'Architects.'

    * John Romita Jr.
    * Mike Deodato
    * Stuart Immonen
    * Salvador Larroca
    * Humberto Ramos
    * Mark Bagley

    So, we now know the writers and the artists. But who goes with who? I hope they aren't counting Bagley and Bendis's book they announced here, cause that's not part of the MU, is it?

    I need to dig up that architect list again ... Bru and Hickman and Aaron are supposed to have new books, right?

    Thumbs up

    I'm very excited to see Bagley drawing a Marvel Icons book I have no interest in whatsoever!

    I was scared that Marvel might put him on one of the 616 ongoing series that I currently buy.

    I can't thank Marvel enough for this announcement.

    The Architects isn't a line of new books, it's just a list of writers and artists who are at the forefront of Marvel as a line right now. Not all of them even are necessarily paired with each other (ie. Aaron's upcoming and as-yet-unannounced title won't necessarily have one of the artist Architects on it).

    It's like Marvel's Young Guns or The Write Stuff creator promotions, but this time with the guys who are the movers and the shakers.

    If the only artists on the Daredevil book are really Martin and Rivera, and it's more of a "swashbuckling" Daredevil with less relentlessly bleak writing, I am SO IN for that. I haven't bought a Marvel book in months and haven't followed a Marvel series regularly in years, but that's way too good.
