Found myself agreeing with him a lot about his feelings about the Punisher's purpose. I was quite "meh" on the relaunch, but I'm a bit sold on it now. Could really hit the nail on the head of what I want from a Punisher comic.

And it's not tying into Fear Itself too much as well. That's good, even if it does hurt the sales.
I'd just like everyone to know that not only am I dropping Marvel, I'm dropping this forum considering I'm not even allowed to voice a negative opinion because a thread "isn't about me".

Liked the idea before, but after this interview I'm 100% sold. Rucka really is aiming to knock this so far out the park.

Punisher is my favorite character, so this was never a wait and see purchase for me. However, Rucka gets the Punisher. At least on paper he does. I'm very excited to see how this plays out.

If Rucka brings the level of sincerity and authenticity in tone and research to Punisher that he does with Queen & Country, I will be a very, very happy reader. Very happy.

They probably chose just the right person for me to read the Punisher again. Rucka's great at street-level stuff and seems to have a great fondness for the Punisher.
