OH god 3 years of Fraction lording over the MU. Is there no end in sight.
Cap has to deal with a powerful Red Skull. Thats never happened before with the Cosmic Cube.
Thor has to deal with the daddy lying to him.
Iron Man has to deal with the fact he can't wrap his science brain around something even though he has fought magic on many many occasions.
Right got it. Sounds boring as all hell.
Status quo change for the Avengers. Well its about time, the last one was almost 6 mths ago.
Oh cool theres going to be another Defenders mini by the looks of it. I'll definitely make sure to get it.
Yeah but it's a different Red Skull and a different Cap.Cap has to deal with a powerful Red Skull. Thats never happened before with the Cosmic Cube.
I'm on the fence with this series. Fraction is hit or miss with me. Loved his Iron Fist. Loved his first 2 years on Iron Man. Found his next year on Iron Man & his Thor boring (dropped both).
Why is Van Lente even there if they don't let him push Alpha Flight.
Nooooooooooo!there are no plans for "runaways" at present, cebulski said.
New Avengers is following this up with the search for the Sorcerer Suprme. Didn't we just do this last year. Good grief.
So yeah we get it hammers, Red Skull, trust fund kid, Odin no All Father, end of the world.
The fact this panel is boring me to tears speaks volumes about this event.
Im hearing a lot of it's about fear, and relationships and the human point of view and how the heroes react.
How about giving some idea of what kind of action to expect.
So far all Ive got is that its a story about the big 3 and the worlds ending and there are 8 hammers and the guys who get them go at it pretty hardcore and everyone gets scared the world is ending.
It just feels like Marvels most borig writer is doing an event to cash in on the movies that new readers will check out and be bored to tears by because nobody wants a superhero comic where everyone just talks about their bloody feelings.

Prediction: Bucky is the last of the worthy causing Steve to return as Cap.
This event sounds so freaking sweet!! I can't wait!!

Maybe its just because I'm reading live notes but this whole story feels very un-focused. For instance, Fraction says that the Red Skull having huge power is Captain America's worst nightmare but then he says that these stories aren't about finding the greatest fear of each hero. Also they say that this is about heros over-coming impossible odds, yet its the Red Skull's story.
When Fraction's talking about the high concept it really reminds of what Grant Morrison was going for in Final Crisis, and that seemed to confuse a lot of readers.
Argh, no! She was way more interesting than Pepper.Maria Hill has left the book![]()
