Joe Prado is a great artist. I always like his designs. They did a special after Blackest Night wrapped up where they showed you all like one hundred of his Black Lantern designs; they were all really good. I hope they keep him around for a while.
Not a fan of Tyler Kirkham's art at all, I think it looks really ugly and sloppy (and not in a good way).
I hope they announce the Red Lanterns artist! I also hope Guy is part of that team / book.
No, I have a bad memory, but didn't Max Lord complete his mission when he "stopped the war" by getting Magog killed? And Jade "balanced the darkness" in the pages of Justice League of America...
If I am not mistaken, the only ones as yet to complete their missions are Hawk, Captain Boomerang and Deadman.
Im hoping Kyle becomes a Blue Lantern and heads up a new Blue Lantern series.
Not sure about the human Red Lantern. Hope its not Guy. Maybe Max Lord or Risk.
Berganza just indicated there will be a human member of the Red Lanterns early in the book's start.
Now, if anyone here can see Kyle Rayner or John Stewart as a Red Lantern, knock yourself out. But my money is squarely on Guy Gardner (who has refused to have Red Lantern blood purified out of his body).
Yeah, I don't see Maxwell Lord taking a lead role in any Lantern book in the near future. And Risk would be even more of a stretch to put it mildly.
Berganza's reply that if we want a Blue Lantern mini-series, we can have it, is encouraging. I'd love to see it--and I'd buy it.
Actually, the article said there would be a human member in the book permanently. Whether that's a current GL, we don't know for sure.
Yeah, even the most recent post-War solicitation makes clear that Kyle and John are staying in the GLC book. So GLs they will likely remain.
It's rather obviously Guy. Which makes me wonder if it's a red herring.
"Batman is this force that appears out of nowhere behind a guy or all the sudden comes through the window like a man-sized brick and the note attached is a serious ass-whooping"
I dunno...Guy has Emerald Warriors, if he were to become a full Red Lantern he'd probably go over to the Red Lantern book and then who would be the star of Emerald Warriors? :/
Don't get me wrong, Kilowog and company are cool and all but that book was really made for Guy. I think Guy's a red herring, no pun intended. ;p
It's probably going to be someone who wasn't a lantern to begin with. Which could end up having a lot of shock value...or none at all. Heh.
