Matt Frank Rodan sketches for the upcoming Godzilla: Rulers of Earth
I'm enjoying the Godzilla ongoing but can somebody please tell Swierczynski that the correct spelling is "bollocks" not "bollix".
Here is some more art from the desk of Matt Frank. The wrap around cover for GODZILLLA: RULERS OF EARTH:
I respect retro flavor, but Final Wars Gigan look so much cooler than that original Gigan (I have the toy right over to my right). They sure don't use a 1970s design for Godzilla, so it'd be nice if Gigan for example also looked cool. Though that's subjective, just sayin'.
Also, while I'm nitpicking, to me Space Godzilla is pretty much the least cool thing ever, lame Godzilla copy with ice-cubes on his shoulders, plus it was one of the weaker movies. What we need is some Biolante (just picked up that blu-ray oh yes). Ha nitpicks aside, gotta love the Big G.

^I disagree. The FW's Gigan was too busy and looked too much like a collection of action figure bits (a big problem with newer Godzilla monster costumes), while the original Gigan is just so odd that it's kinda timeless.
