Man, that THUNDER Agents preview really makes DC's loss of Spencer sting all the more. Because that's a GREAT opening.
Highly anticipated.

Looks good, really looking forward to some answers on Toby.
Wow, that was a great intro. T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents has got to be one of the best books out there now. And as much as I loved the guest artists in the past issues, Sook goes with CAFU so much better.
Pull List: Action Comics, Green Lantern, GLC, GL: New Guardians, Justice League, The Flash, Batman Inc, Batman, Nightwing, Batman & Robin, Dial H, Animal Man, Frankenstien, Earth-2
i was just thinking,
was Menthor's new look inspired by The Spy from Team Fortress 2?

I'm confused. Is Tony Daniel's not on Batman anymore? It even lists his name in the solicits.
With Nick Spencer now exclusive to Marvel, he will complete his arc on Thunder Agents, and then DC editorial is still thinking about what to do with the book after that.

Bummer. :(

that's crappy news. i was holding on to hope that spencer could give us a decent run on this book. with the way sales already are, i bet dc puts this book in the dumps. it's a shame too, because it's been excellent.

It's one of those books that is the rarest of things; It's got a strong, unique voice. It has something to SAY.
If I were running a comics company, I think more than anything that is what I'd stress about every book in my line -- that it have something to SAY, that it be making some sort of point.
Not necessarily preaching, because I don't think that's what Thunder Agents is about, but it's saying a lot of different things about a lot of different things. And I really like that. And I'm going to miss it.
Kudos to Marvel, though.

Thunder Agents looks great. I'm a big fan of the original Thunder Agents but I decided to pass up on the relaunch because I'm too gun-shy about buying things that I'm sure will just get canceled in no time at all. It hurts too much! lol
Anybody know how its doing sales-wise? I'm hoping it will surprise and I can pick up the trade...
EDIT: I missed Weeks' post, I guess it's not doing so well. Predictable but sad.

Oh my god, Canon! *masturbates furiously*

Comics were happier before the Internet turned writing superhero stories into fruitless attempts to impress/entertain a small group of ppl who appear to hate comics and their creators.
