lol. he is a giant bullet.
here are some namor discussion threads elsewhere on the boards for those interested. one of my favorites was a discussion some of us had on his rogue's gallery back in 2009 (bottom link):
how ironic: namor & storm
namor/neptune connection
how powerful is namor
scumbag namor
namor's rogues

I've always wondered why he didn't ask Neptune to rebuild or recreate Atlantis. When was the last time he had direct contact with Neptune?
Phil Collins FTW
That and the Namor "Revolution" mini were some of my favorites of recent years, even though as you mention Namor is not the main character in "The Depths"...
I guess we don't want to bring up cousin Shamor in this thread?
And how about his co-leading part in Super-Villain Team-Up? These two have been in and out of each other's favor for years.
Here's a larger scan of Jim Lee's Namor from the FF: Heroes Reborn as a bonus...

I've been following the most recent Namor series. Since I like Namor, I'm trying really hard to like it, but so far it has been kinda boring. I thought Olivetti on art was going to be pretty good, but I'm starting to realize that he is much better suited as a cover artist imo. His panels have come across very static, and the backgrounds are bland. I'm still not ready to drop the title though. I'll give it another story arc. Hopefully it picks up.
There was a two issue story in Marvel Team Up back in mid or late 90's that had Namor and Man Thing that I really liked and also had some pretty good art from Liam Sharp. Definitely worth checking out if your a Namor fan.
Those Michael Turner Namor images are beautiful. I would have loved if he had done the interiors on that mini. The Maleev Jean Reno as Namor images are quite hideous though.
